Tammy Griffith Music
in my own words

I consider myself a very spiritual and emotional being. I adore music; performing is my greatest thrill. I've been composing lyrics and poetry for much of my life, but my lyrics have become more intense the past several years. Fueled by the raw emotion of losing my grandfather in August 2000 (my first real experience with death), I began to seek a deeper relationship with my Creator and express my feelings with crafty words and phrases.  Songwriting is pure soul food for me; my songs typically possess a positive, spiritual feel.  Through my lyrics and melodies, I express my thoughts about the road we're all traveling.
