I consider myself a very spiritual and emotional being. I adore music; performing is my greatest thrill. I've been composing lyrics and poetry for the past eleven years, but only in the past 8 years have my lyrics become more intense. Fueled by the raw emotional experience of losing my grandfather in August 2000 (my first real experience with death), I began to seek a deeper relationship with my Creator and express my feelings with crafty words and phrases.

Songwriting is true soul food for me; though I didn't begin with the intention of writing "Christian music," my songs have a decidedly CCM feel.  I express my thoughts on life, love, and God in my lyrical creations.

Vocal coach and singer-songwriter Tammy Griffith captivates audiences with her unique style and upbeat personality. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Communication (Middle Tennessee State University, cum laude). Solo and group performances have taken Tammy from weddings and community events to Disney World's Magic Kingdom, Epcot Center, and the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Tammy is a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest, largest, and most selective all-discipline honor society, as well as the North Carolina Songwriters Co-op (NCSC), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the support and promotion of songwriters in the state of North Carolina.
